DVD Production

We offer a two-tier DVD production service - 'Basic' and 'Authored'.

THE BASIC DVD service consists of a simple transfer-to-DVD service whereby material from a variety of sources ( eg VHS or Mini DV tape etc.) is copied directly to DVD.  This produces a DVD with a standard menu consisting of one or more clips depending on the number of clips recorded onto the DVD.  Each menu item can be individually titled once the material is recorded onto the DVD.

We charge HK$150 for the first video source clip then HK$100 for each subsequent source clip.  So a DVD with four video clips on its menu would cost HK$150 + HK$100 + HK$100 + HK$100 = HK$450.  Further copies cost HK$10 each.

THE AUTHORED DVD service employs DVD Studio Pro authoring software enabling a DVD design to the client's specification providing anything from a simple customised screen with just a few menu options, to sophistication menu navigation with all the features associated with professional TV productions.  As this service is so wide-ranging it is not possible to quote a standard cost.  However the cheapest authored option (eg a 15 minute movie requiring a single customised menu screen and 'play' button) would typically cost around HK$500 to produce onto a single DVD, though extra copies would only cost the same as for the Basic Service.
